What We Provide

We will come out to the location of your choosing (within the greater Los Angeles and San Fernando Valley area), and interview you for 50 minutes (excluding setup). We will take that recorded interview about you and your life experiences and put it on a personalized DVD for you, your family and future generations to enjoy.

We will also put a sideshow with up to 24 pictures, of your choosing (additional pictures cost extra), to a song of your choosing, on your DVD as well.

Sittings take 1 1/2 - 2 hours to complete. What that entails is 10-15 minutes of setup time, 50 minutes for the interview, then 10-15 minutes to break down and pack up our equipment.

Our turn around is typically 2 weeks to complete the final DVD (depending on additional interview time and/or additional pictures for the sideshow). Once it has been completed, we will mail it off to you. Once it has been mailed, a specialist will contact you and let you know its on its way.

What is Involved

Once you schedule an appointment, we will send you out a questionnaire to fill out and send back. This will allow us to custom tailor the interview to you and your life.

The questionnaire will help you to start thinking about the special events and people who helped shape your life. We also ask that you provide us with a short bio about yourself, typically one to two paragraphs. This will go onto the DVD menu and the back of your DVD case.

We would also ask that you gather up to 24 pictures (you can choose more, but above 24 pictures costs extra). These pictures should be of various stages and special events in your life.

If you are able, we ask that you put the photos onto a CD for us. We will accept the actual photos, but we would rather not be responsible for the original images. You can also provide us with black and white, sepia and or color photocopies.

Please also choose 2 songs that are meaningful to you and fill that in on the questionnaire. Specify which song you would like for the sideshow and which song you would like for your DVD menu.

At the date and time of interview, one of our specialists will arrive, ready help you locate the best, and most comfortable for you, place to conduct the interview. Please do not worry about insufficient lighting, we will bring our own lighting. What is important, is that you are comfortable.

We Will set up the lighting and the camera, place a microphone on you, and when you are ready, we will start asking you questions about you and your life. After we have completed the interview, we will breakdown our camera, lighting and remove the microphone and be on our way.

The video and audio recordings are then taken to our post-production facility. There they are put together and placed on a DVD with your photos and music for your sideshow. The custom disc art is printed right onto the DVD and the wrapper is printed. They are then placed in the case, packed and mailed off to you.

Pricing & Payment Options

Interview, DVD and sideshow is $250.00.

Additional DVD's are $25.00.

Additional photos (after 24) are $0.25 each.

Additional interview time (past 50 min.) is $50.00/hour.

* We will mail your DVD to you free of charge, within California. Out of state shipping will incur a shipping fee.

** We require a $175.00, non refundable deposit at the time of booking. The balance of $75.00 is due upon completion of the DVD.
